The Suspicious Cheese Lords is a male a cappella ensemble that performs concerts and provides church service music for the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. Although specializing in music of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, their repertoire ranges from Gregorian chant to original compositions.

The Dragon had the distinct pleasure of recording the Cheeselords live at the Pope John Paul II Cultural Center in Washington, DC.

The concert was held in the marble coated foyer of the Cultural Center - a VERY live environment. It presented many challenges. The recordings were made with four Neumann U-47 mics suspended over the Cheeselords' heads, to capture the four different vocal ranges of the group (Bass, Tenor, Alto and Soprano).
